Completed! Pink, orange & gray baby blanket

Love this new crochet stitch I found on Pinterest,  very malleable to yarn thickness, gauge,  colors, etc., plus gives a cute little bubble effect.

Crochet directions:

Row 1: chain an odd number as big as you want your item, turn
Row 2: loop over and pull up a stitch in 3rd chain from hook, loop over and pull up a stitch in next chain,  yo and pull through all 5 stitches on hook (2hdc made), for next 2hdc yo and pull up a stitch from same chain of last 2hdc,  yo and pull up stitch in next chain,  yo and pull through all 5 stitches,  continue 2hdc across to end,  hdc in final stitch,  ch 3 and turn

Repeat row 2 as many times as you want

Using this stitch I made a cute little baby blanket in a couple of episodes of Doctor Who holding two yarns together and a size p crochet hook.  I used Simply Soft Caron yarn in gray,  and combined it with a bit of lion brand baby soft yarn in hot pink for most of the blanket, then switched the pink for an orange Vanna's choice yarn.

I certainly will be using this stitch again,  check out the pics!
Arther, always the attention-getter, can't take one picture without him running over ;)
