Style Cure 2014

Last weekend I combined Assignment 4 and Assignment 7.

I created an outbox in the foyer/hall going into our bedroom, and cleaned the entire room. I noticed I really need storage for books (or a new home for them) and jewelry storage, as it all sits in boxes right now.

Floor Plan, Assignment 5:

Would love to add a vanity for jewelry, etc. storage. The long wall across from the bed I want to add some shelfs for art, place to hang things. Need somewhere to put all the books, if not in the bedroom, someplace else? The bottom left I am dumfounded as to what should go there, very awkward, but need access to under stair storage. I think keeping things simple is my best chance for success, so I don't plan to go overboard with rugs, art, projects.

Color Confidence, Assignment 6
Having read the article, I'm going to stick to warm colors. I learned black is a warm color, need some black, neutrals, maybe some gold and vibrant artwork for pop of color. Maybe some fun pillows also.
