April was an amazing month. Friends married, weather warmed, and moved into our new home. That’s right the deadline came and went and we are in. Not finished, but in. So start looking at your calendars and decide when you can come visit us in our new home and we can have a cookout!!!

History fact. Wisconsin has been around longer and became an official state first. Wisconsin May 29, 1848. Minnesota May 11, 1858.

NetFlix Original – The Killing - ***
This is a pretty interesting show. It surrounds a murder case in Seattle. Two detectives, politics, mafia all the makings of fireworks. I think it should be better but it is still a fun watching and definitely makes you want to watch more.
CBS - Survivor - *****
This may have been on a previous rendition but it deserves to be mentioned again. Betty and I are watching it Wednesday nights and love it. The social dynamic, human emotion from being on an island for that long, stuck with strangers 24 hours a day, and some puzzles and challenges to keep it exciting. How can we create a board game that would replicate the aspects of the show? That will become my million-dollar game.
Adult Refrigerators - *****
So here is my definition, a fridge with the freezer on the bottom. I don’t think I’ve ever had a fridge this nice, or brand new and let me tell you. IT’s the best. Clean, easy to organize, it’s so much fun to open the fridge, control the temp and so much more. Most people probably have had this for a while but betty and I bought one to put in our kitchen and we LOVE IT.
DAD JOKE of the month:
A Ham sandwich walks into a bar and orders a beer. The bartender says sorry we don’t serve food here.
Wisconsin sports recap:
Green Bay Packers (2017 offseason). The draft is over and the Packers… well they drafted players. I don’t have an unusual excitement this year. I think we have a fairly similar team and I’m in a state of wait and see. How good will the defense be? How cutthroat will the offense be, just keep attacking through the air and put teams out early or try to run clock and allow opponent back in? We shall see. My opinion didn’t do enough this offseason but if you win a championship then it’s all good.
Milwaukee Bucks (2017 Offseason). We got to enjoy a roller coaster first round. Loss, big blow out, let downs, and ultimately another first round loss. But I’m super excited by this young team, and to get Jabari back, we need to embrace any athlete that loves Wisconsin and makes it their home. TEAM JABARI here. Eastern Conference Finals next year for the Bucks.
Milwaukee Brewers (14-14) One month in and we are still 500. We are .5 games back of wildcard. It may be the closest we are all season so enjoy it now. Pitching staff is below average but we lead the entire league in Home Runs! That is at least fun to watch. I’d be silly not to mention how awesome Thames has been. I think that is a great sign for our management and we should believe that they can help rebuild. Retool and develop this team in a potential playoff team in a couple years.

Tip – Caulk is a miracle worker. Whether it be outside vents, inside seals, patching holes, or making trim and molding look professional. It’s awesome!
